In 2019 I started Steadyhand Productions with my cousin. We worked with Amazon, Nestlé and a string of smaller brands through referrals — and never bothered building an inbound channel. By 2024 three clients pulled their budgets in the same month and the business was nearly gone.
So I started a YouTube channel. Six months later it was bringing in most of our new work.
